Each of our rooms is carefully designed to provide age-appropriate activities and learning experiences, all within our nurturing woodland-themed environment.

Ages 0-2 years

Bumble Bees Room (Ages 0-2 years)

Designed for children up to their second birthday, our Bumble Bees room provides a warm, secure environment for our youngest children to explore the world around them. We offer up to 15 hours of funded childcare per week for eligible families (from September 2024), and our customized settling-in program helps your child adjust comfortably.

What we provide:

  • 1:3 staff to child ratio ensuring personalised care
  • Each child assigned a key person to build strong bonds
  • Personalised learning experiences based on observations
  • Direct access to private decking space as well as a private artificial grassed area for outdoor play

Ages 2-3 years

Ladybirds Room (Ages 2-3 years)

Our Ladybirds room caters to children aged 2-3 years, providing a nurturing environment with a 1:4 staff-to-child ratio where curious toddlers can explore and learn through play. We offer up to 15 hours of funded childcare per week for eligible families (from April 2024), and our tailored settling-in program helps children transition smoothly.

What we provide:

  • Key person assigned to each child for secure relationships
  • Indoor creative playroom for activities like play dough and painting
  • Access to courtyard garden and main outdoor area
  • Features include wildlife area, mud kitchen, and water play

Ages 3+ to school age

Butterflies Room (Ages 3+ to school age)

Our Butterflies room is for children aged 3 years up to the start of full-time school, preparing them through play-based learning in a fun, engaging environment. We offer full-time and part-time placements with term-time spaces and holiday club options. Children are encouraged to participate in their own learning journey, with parental contributions valued through "stories from home".

What we provide:

  • 15 or 30 hours of funded nursery education entitlement
  • Support for communication, language, and literacy through early phonics
  • Multicultural, language-rich environment with mark-making opportunities
  • Close collaboration with local schools for smooth transition

A Typical Day

Please note: Schedules are flexible and adapted to each room's needs and the children's interests. We also read our 'book of the week' twice a day. Personal care is provided 24/7 as required. Different themes are planned each week so activity's will reflect this based on interests and childrens next steps of learning. Outdoor play activities are weather controlled.
